Robert Polidoro
Born in Manhattan in 1994, Robert Polidoro has been immersed in the world of art since childhood, beginning his journey in oil painting at the age of seven by replicating postcards in a family friend's basement. He honed his skills at the Rhode Island School of Design, graduating with a BFA in 2016.
Polidoro’s work features de-anthropomorphized subjects set against idealized landscapes, creating a visual narrative that operates within the logic of dreams and lateral thinking. His paintings explore themes such as the sublime, abjection, isolation, speed, and time, inviting viewers to engage with the complexities of existence.
