Collect Bean: What is one of your current goals as an artist?

Claudio Marcotulli: More shows and residencies. I also want to explore ways to make work in metal and 3D printing.

Collect Bean: Where are you currently finding inspiration?

Claudio Marcotulli: I am always drawn to the latest findings in astronomy. They help me gain perspective, and I enjoy the challenge of bringing these ideas to my work.

Collect Bean: If you could give your younger self one piece of advice, what would it be?

Claudio Marcotulli: Keep doing what you love doing.
